Tensions in the Middle East have reached a dangerous peak as Iran has firmly rejected a ceasefire proposal backed by the United States and Israel, just hours before a deadline set by Donald Trump.

Instead of agreeing to a temporary truce, Tehran has presented a comprehensive 10-point plan, insisting on a permanent end to the war rather than a short-term ceasefire.

According to Iranian state media and diplomatic sources, Tehran’s response—delivered through Pakistan—includes the following key demands:

Iran’s 10-Point Demands

  • Permanent end to the war, not a temporary ceasefire
  • Complete halt to regional hostilities, including conflicts involving Iran and its allies
  • Lifting of all international sanctions imposed on Iran
  • Establishment of a secure protocol for navigation through the Strait of Hormuz
  • Reconstruction and compensation mechanisms for war-affected areas
  • Recognition of Iran’s security concerns and sovereignty
  • Long-term guarantees against future attacks

On the other hand, the end of Trump’s ultimatum is very close as he has issued a stark warning: if Iran fails to comply by the deadline, the US could launch massive strikes targeting Iranian infrastructure, including power plants and bridges.

He warned that Iran could be “taken out in one night,” raising fears of a major regional escalation and potential global consequences.
