Abu Dhabi (Daily Dusk) — The United Arab Emirates has ordered the closure of its embassy in Tehran and recalled its ambassador along with all diplomatic personnel, condemning recent missile attacks by Iran.

According to the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the strikes targeted civilian areas including residential neighborhoods, airports, ports, and vital service facilities, putting unarmed civilians at serious risk. The ministry described these actions as reckless, aggressive, and a clear breach of international law, national sovereignty, and the United Nations Charter.

The statement emphasized that the UAE’s decision reflects its firm commitment to safeguarding national security and sovereignty. It warned that Iran’s continued provocative actions threaten efforts to de-escalate tensions, destabilize the region, compromise energy security, and affect global economic stability.

The announcement comes amid rising regional tensions following the US and Israeli attacks on Iranian leadership, which have triggered retaliatory measures and heightened instability across the Middle East.
