Karachi, February 21, 2026: The Sindh School Education and Literacy Department has officially withdrawn its February 11, 2026 notification regarding the formation of District Cluster Committees. The notification, which outlined the establishment of these committees across all districts, has now been canceled by Secretary School Education Zahid Abbasi vide order No. SO (G-III)SELD/3-1604/2021 dated 20th February, 2026.
According to the notification, the department has retracted the order, but no further details regarding a revised plan for district committees have been shared yet.
