The Government of Sindh has announced the early release of salaries, allowances, and pensions for Muslim government employees and pensioners in anticipation of Eid ul Fitr.
According to a letter issued by the Sindh Finance Department, all Muslim employees and pensioners will receive their March payments on March 16, 2026, instead of the regular schedule, which is typically April 1. The early disbursement also applies to employees working under work-charged and contingent paid establishments.
The advance payment aims to ensure that employees and pensioners have their dues in time for the Eid holidays, which are expected to fall on March 20 or 21, depending on the sighting of the Shawwal moon.
This move is part of the provincial government’s effort to facilitate public servants during festive occasions and ease financial planning for households ahead of the celebrations.
