Doha – Qatar’s Emir held a phone conversation with Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince to discuss the latest developments in the region and their potential impact on both regional and international security.
During the call, both countries emphasized the urgent need for an “immediate halt” to any escalating actions and called for a return to dialogue and negotiations.
Saudi Arabia reiterated its “complete solidarity with Qatar, condemning the targeting of Qatari territory with Iranian ballistic missiles” and pledged to extend full support to safeguard Qatar’s sovereignty, security, and stability.
In response, Qatar’s Emir expressed “deep gratitude for the steadfast support and fraternal solidarity of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, highlighting the importance of their unwavering backing for the Qatari people.”
