Pakistan, US seek to boost trade and investment ties

Washington, February 21: Pakistan and the United States agreed to enhance cooperation in trade and investment during a meeting between Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb and US Commerce Secretary Howard A. Lutnick in Washington.

The finance ministry said both sides discussed US investment interest in ICT, mining, minerals and energy, and reaffirmed plans to deepen engagement in the coming months.

Earlier, the two countries signed an MoU on cooperation regarding the future of the Roosevelt Hotel.
