Several explosions were reported in Tehran shortly after the Israel Defense Forces announced that it had launched a new round of attacks.
According to local reports, multiple blasts were heard across different parts of the Iranian capital. Residents said the explosions shook several neighborhoods, creating panic among people in nearby areas.
Videos circulating on social media showed thick plumes of smoke rising from Qarchak County, located southeast of Tehran. The footage appeared to show smoke spreading over the skyline as emergency sirens and loud blasts were reported by witnesses.
There were also unconfirmed reports that the strikes may have targeted a base linked to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps in the area. However, Iranian authorities have not yet officially confirmed the exact targets or the extent of the damage.
The latest explosions come amid escalating tensions between Israel and Iran, with both sides exchanging threats and military actions over the past several days. Observers fear the situation could further intensify if the attacks continue.
