The Israel Defense Forces has announced that it carried out a “massive wave of attacks” targeting infrastructure in Tehran, marking another escalation in the ongoing confrontation with Iran.

In a message posted on its Persian-language account on X, the Israeli military said the latest strikes were aimed at strategic facilities in the Iranian capital.

The announcement follows earlier Israeli attacks in recent days on oil installations in Tehran and the neighboring Alborz Province. Those strikes reportedly sparked major fires and raised environmental and public health concerns among residents in the affected areas.

The intensifying air campaign highlights the growing scale of hostilities between Israel and Iran, which has already triggered retaliatory missile and drone attacks across the region and heightened fears of a broader Middle East conflict.
