Daily Dusk , March 5, 2026 -Tehran — Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has issued a sharp warning to United States President Donald Trump, saying Washington’s initial strategy against Iran has already failed.
According to a report by Al Jazeera, Araghchi directly addressed the US president in a statement posted on the social media platform X.
“Plan A for a clean rapid military victory failed, Mr President,” the Iranian foreign minister wrote. “Your Plan B will be an even bigger failure.”
Araghchi also claimed that the opportunity for a “unique deal” between the two sides was lost during the latest round of negotiations.
“The truth is that the chance for a unique deal was burned after recent developments,” he said, suggesting that diplomatic progress had been undermined.
In a pointed remark about US policy toward Israel, the Iranian minister added, “Israel First always means America Last.”
The statement comes amid heightened tensions in the Middle East and ongoing confrontation involving Iran, the United States, and Israel, raising fears of further escalation in the region.
