Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has warned the United Arab Emirates (UAE) that locations used by the United States on its territory could become “legitimate targets” following a major US military strike on Iran’s Kharg Island.
According to reports, the warning came after US forces carried out precision strikes on military installations on Kharg Island, a strategic Iranian site in the Persian Gulf. In response, the IRGC said that any facilities or “hideouts” used by US forces in the UAE could be targeted if attacks on Iran continue.
Iranian officials also advised civilians to stay away from locations linked to US military activity in the Gulf region. The warning is part of escalating tensions between Iran and the United States amid an expanding conflict that has already affected several Middle Eastern countries and disrupted shipping and energy markets.
Analysts say the latest statement signals the possibility of a broader regional confrontation, as Gulf states hosting US military facilities could become involved if hostilities continue to intensify
