China has announced it will send emergency humanitarian assistance to Iran, Jordan, Lebanon, and Iraq amid escalating US–Israeli strikes in the region, aiming to ease the suffering of affected civilians.
Speaking at a press conference, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian said the aid initiative reflects Beijing’s concern over the worsening humanitarian situation caused by ongoing military operations.
The announcement comes as the Middle East faces intensifying conflict, with widespread displacement, civilian casualties, and growing pressure on healthcare systems across several countries. China has emphasized the need for urgent relief efforts and reiterated its call for de-escalation and protection of civilians.
According to recent developments, the crisis has already forced large-scale population movements and strained essential services in countries like Lebanon and Iraq, prompting international organizations to mobilize emergency support.

China’s move underscores its broader diplomatic stance of advocating stability while stepping up humanitarian assistance in conflict-affected regions.
