I wish to draw attention to the urgent need for a public library in Wahi Pandhi. The town, home to a large population of students, young professionals, and lifelong learners, currently lacks access to a dedicated space for reading, research, and cultural activities.
A public library would provide essential resources—books, reference materials, and digital access—to support students preparing for exams, school and college students conducting research, and residents seeking self-education. Beyond academics, it would serve as a hub for literacy programs, workshops, and community engagement, fostering a culture of reading and knowledge-sharing in the town.
I urge the Sindh Culture Department to prioritize the establishment of a public library in Wahi Pandhi. This initiative would not only enhance educational opportunities but also contribute to the intellectual and cultural growth of the community.
